Masoud Atyabi's 'Texas' movie takes rain check on Nowruz screening

Public release for Masoud Atyabi's 'Texas' has been rescheduled to later time after Nowruz holidays.

The movie had been slated to appear on the silver screen in Iran during Nowruz or the Persian New Year holidays (starting March 21), but reports say the movie will be screened later.

‘Texas’ has an action comic theme and enjoys some foreign stars too.

Pejman Jamashidi, Sam Derakhshani and Hamid Farrokhnejad star in the movie.

Born in 1964, Atyabi is an Iranian producer, production manager and director.

He began his career as a war zone cameraman in 1985 and made the television series ‘A Friend's Share’ in 2012.

Atyabi has directed a number of movies, including ‘Hardships of the Maiden’, ‘The Fighter Rooster’, ‘Morning of the Seventh Day’, ‘The First Condition’ and ‘The Silent Tower’.
